UK College of Engineering - Paducah Campus Engineering Day

This 17th annual event is for elementary, middle and high school students to help build enthusiasm about the field of engineering.

Throughout the day, several contests will take place to help build an understanding of what engineers do.

Favorites include Oobleck, Rube Goldberg Machine, Engineering Ice Cream and the Popsicle-stick Bridge competition. Some of these contests (i.e. Popsicle-Stick Bridge) take advanced preparation, while others, such as the Aluminum Foil Boat Float, can be prepared on-site.

New events for this year include High Powered Paper Rockets, Happy Dough Lucky and a few more suprises!!
